During this time, you’ll have the incredible opportunity to meet some of the most loving and hopeful animals from BARC Houston. Adoption fees will be a special rate of just $5, making it easier than ever to bring a new family member home. This nominal fee helps BARC continue its operations while making pet ownership accessible to more caring individuals.
Even if you’re not ready to adopt, we warmly invite everyone to come down to the event! Spending time with these animals, offering them some much-needed play time, and showering them with affection can make a world of difference to their spirits. The outdoor fresh air and interaction are incredibly beneficial for shelter pets, helping them socialize and reducing stress. BARC Houston also always needs volunteers, and your presence and interaction can be a form of invaluable volunteering. It’s a wonderful way to contribute, even if it’s just to share a few moments of joy with a grateful animal.
