The studio has truly developed multiple personalities to keep up with the wide range of projects that goes on here.

Amidst all the delightful chaos, there’s one sweet escape that keeps my sanity intact: my new cotton candy maker! (Yes, you read that right!). It’s been an absolute lifesaver, providing a sugary respite whenever things get a little too… unusual. Recently, I had my very first experience with olive oil cake, and I am officially, irrevocably obsessed! The unique flavor profile, the moist texture, the subtle sweetness – it’s a revelation! I’m seriously considering developing a recipe for the blog. I could easily devour an entire plate of it in one sitting. It’s simply divine and so much less sugary than conventional cake.

I had the pleasure of trying this incredible cake at the Montrose Shop dinner party series last week. Let me tell you, those ladies know how to host an unforgettable evening! Every detail was impeccable, from the ambiance to the delectable dishes. I wanted to photograph everything and then immediately devour it all. Which is a pretty good sign of deliciousness if you ask me!
Retro Glassware and Stylish Finds
Speaking of things I love, feast your eyes on my new retro-inspired glasses! Aren’t they absolutely fabulous? I’m seriously in love with the vintage charm and the pop of color they bring to any setting.

They might set you back around $40, but believe me, they’re worth every penny! The styling possibilities are endless. They will definitely get used at the next dinner party for sure. From refreshing summer cocktails to elegant dinner parties, these glasses are sure to elevate any occasion.
The Aftermath of Creative Projects
Ever wondered what your hands look like after spray painting 50 paper lanterns at 1 a.m.? Well, wonder no more! Let’s just say it involves a rainbow of colors and a desperate need for heavy-duty hand cleaner.

Clearly, I need to invest in a good pair of gloves. But the options were very limited during the witching hour! Sometimes, you just have to embrace the mess and power through the creative process, even if it means sporting multi-colored hands for a few days.
The Star of the Show: The Cotton Candy Maker
Now, for the main event: the cotton candy maker! As I mentioned earlier, this delightful machine has become my go-to stress reliever and source of sugary inspiration.
I actually bought two cotton candy makers this week. Don’t judge me! We ended up keeping this one. I secretly wish it were a little cuter, but its performance far outweighed its aesthetics. It was significantly better than the kiddy toy version we found first, which, honestly, seemed a bit scary to operate, especially around children.
Making cotton candy is no joke! It’s an art form, a delicate dance between sugar, heat, and centrifugal force. It requires patience, precision, and a willingness to embrace the inevitable sugar explosion that coats every surface in a sticky film.

We’ve even started using it as unintentional tabletop art because it gets FREAKING EVERYWHERE. But honestly, the sugary mess is a small price to pay for the joy and creativity it brings to the studio.
My ultimate dream is to upgrade to an awesome cart version someday for events (and maybe even meetings!). So, if anyone wants to support my cotton candy habit, I’m all ears!

I’m on a mission to convince everyone to buy these $19 oxfords because they’re incredibly cute and comfortable. The cut-out design is perfect for summer because your feet don’t overheat and they go with everything!
I’ve also received a few inquiries lately about my makeup routine, and I’m considering sharing a simple post featuring my everyday staples. I’m no makeup guru. I stick to what I know, so it would be a few easy tips. I tend to use the same favorite products every day, but would you all be interested in that? Let me know in the comments below!
