A pretty petal pink Floral Rose Champagne cocktail. It makes for the perfect signature sparkling drink for bridal showers, wedding cocktails or even girls’ night in!

When we hosted our first floral workshop, we knew that wanted to serve our attendees a cocktail that incorporated flowers. So we collaborated with Le Grand Courtage on concocting the perfect signature drink for the floral event. And from there, we created this delicious Floral Rose Champagne cocktail.
This lovely rosy drink is easy enough to serve at a large gathering. This is twist on the Lillet Rose Spring cocktail. But instead of using Lillet rosé, we opted for brut rosé champagne, which is a lot more accessible. And instead of being a gin cocktail, this has a vodka base.
This pink champagne cocktail is cute enough for bridal showers, signature wedding cocktails, or even girls’ night in!

Ingredients Needed
- Brut Rosé Champagne: We used Le Grande Rose Courtage Brut. You can sub it out for sparkling rosé to maintain the pink color.
- Grapefruit Juice: Freshly squeezed is always best for the most vibrant flavor.
- Vodka: Use a high-quality vodka for a smoother cocktail.
- Mint Simple Syrup: You can easily make a big batch. It keeps for 1 month and can also be used for baking. You can sub it for regular simple syrup. However, the mint flavoring adds a more complex flavor pallet to this sweet cocktail.
- Edible Flowers: For petal garnishes. Ensure they are food-grade and safe to consume.

How to Make a Floral Rose Champagne Cocktail
Crafting this beautiful and delicious Floral Rose Champagne Cocktail is easier than you might think! Follow these simple steps to impress your guests or enjoy a delightful treat yourself. This cocktail is perfect for adding a touch of elegance to any occasion, from bridal showers to casual gatherings.
Step 1: Chill Your Ingredients
Before you begin, make sure your vodka, grapefruit juice, and rosé champagne are well-chilled. This will ensure that your cocktail is refreshing and doesn’t get diluted too quickly by ice.
Step 2: Combine and Shake
In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine the vodka, grapefruit juice, brut rosé champagne, and mint simple syrup. The combination of these ingredients creates a delightful balance of sweet, tart, and floral notes.
Step 3: Shake Vigorously
Close the lid tightly and shake well until the shaker feels thoroughly chilled. This usually takes about 15-20 seconds. Shaking the mixture properly ensures that all the flavors meld together and the cocktail is perfectly chilled.
Step 4: Strain and Serve
Strain the cocktail into your glasses. Using a strainer prevents any ice shards or fruit pulp from entering your drink, ensuring a smooth and pleasant drinking experience.
Step 5: Garnish with Edible Flowers
The final touch is to garnish with edible flowers. Gently place a few petals on top of the cocktail to add a touch of elegance and visual appeal. The flowers not only look beautiful but also subtly enhance the floral aroma of the drink.

Where to Purchase Flower Petal Garnishes and Consuming Edible Florals
Finding the right edible flowers for your cocktail garnishes is essential for both aesthetics and safety. Here’s a guide to help you source and handle edible flowers properly.
Sourcing Edible Flowers
For the flower petal garnishes, we purchased edible florals from our local market grocery store in the produce department. You can typically find them next to the packaged herbs. These flowers are specifically grown for consumption and are free from harmful pesticides and chemicals.
You can also find a wide assortment of edible flowers online. Websites specializing in gourmet foods and organic produce often carry a variety of edible flowers, making it convenient to find the perfect petals for your cocktail.
Cleaning and Preparing Edible Flowers
It’s crucial to clean and rinse flowers before incorporating them into edible elements! They are very delicate so do not rinse them under running water. Instead, gently rinse them in a bowl of cool water. This method helps remove any dirt or insects without damaging the delicate petals.
After rinsing, gently pat the flowers dry with a paper towel. This will help them maintain their shape and prevent them from becoming soggy when added to your cocktail.
Safety Precautions
Please follow instructions for edible florals closely. Beware of consuming them if you suffer from chronic allergies. Some people may be allergic to certain types of flowers, so it’s essential to be aware of any potential sensitivities before consuming them.
Expanding Your Culinary Horizons
There are tons of edible flower recipes that incorporate this pretty ingredient into appetizers, salads, dessert and drink recipes. So if you properly prep them, they really elevate your recipe. Experiment with adding edible flowers to salads, desserts, and other culinary creations to add a touch of elegance and unique flavor.
Disclaimer: You’re adding florals to this recipe at your own risk, and Sugar & Cloth is in no way responsible for incidents thereof. Always ensure that the flowers you use are safe for consumption and free from pesticides.
